Computer sales in Canada
(Toronto, Montreal, Vancouve, Calgary, Edmonton) grew 19 percent to 1.25 million units . Sales of notebooks, used by an increasingly mobile
workforce, more than doubled to 219,000 units in the quarter to offset a sluggish desktop PC market, it said in a report. Sales
were strongest at the fancier end of the market, with the 52,500-65,500 rupee price band seeing the fastest growth.
